For those of you who don't really spend much time around little kids, the following photos might be a bit bizarre to you. You'll learn.
There are plenty of mornings that Jason gets up with Jackson, takes him potty, and then has Jackson wake me up with kiss. This was one of those mornings. Well, for the most part, it was. With one exception. Jason was still asleep next to me.
Jackson woke up and went potty. Then, he came into our room, turned the noise maker off, and gave me a big kiss. It took me a moment to realize what had just happened. Jackson climbed on top of me cheering, "I went potty, Momma! I went poop all by myself!" Shortly after he said that, I realized he had not put his pull-up back on or any underpants either. I said "great job!" and sent him back to his room to put some underpants on.

Photo #32 Music and Motion
Anyone who knows Jackson knows he just can't stay in one place. Apparently this applies to his toys, too.
Each night, Jason and I don't always know which of the kids toys we might step on or lay on before going to sleep. Some days it's puzzle pieces. Other days it can be stuffed animals or dolls. Today, it was Jackson's toy piano.

Photo #31 Snow Days
Today was definitely a snow day. I headed off to the store early in the day since the in coming storm had not arrived yet. Got our milk and diapers for Molly. I even got a box of donuts just in case the roads are too bad to go out to get Donut Saturday donuts.
Molly has been a bit under the weather lately, so she has been back to taking two naps each day. This puts the kids on opposite nap schedules. Thankfully the weather is too bad to go anywhere, so we're not missing out on anything. I even like getting a little one on one time with them.
Jackson has definitely been my silly little man lately. This morning, while we were eating breakfast together, he began telling me that we needed to "go outside and fly. But we have to wait until the snow comes and then we still can't fly because we need to get our birdie costumes so we can fly." Now, he and Molly are in bed and I am listening to Jackson sing The Alphabet Song to himself. I have a great life.
Anywho, while Molly was taking a nap, Jackson wanted to play "the cherry game." Which, to the rest of us, is Hi-ho Cherri-o. Initially, he wanted me to play with him. Then he decided I need to go on the computer and he would take care of setting up the game. A couple minutes later, he came into the living room saying, "don't you wanna come watch me, Momma? It's really fun!" Of course, I complied.

Photo #30 My Little Photographer
Jackson loves his Kidizoom camera he got for Christmas. Today he decided to take some photos of Molly. He even got her to say "cheese!" Unfortunately, the memory in the camera was full. No worries! I got all the pictures loaded onto the computer and, even though he didn't get a photo of of Molly saying, "cheese," I did!!!

Photo #29 Second Project Complete
Hello. My name is Janice and I'm addicted to knitting.
It really is true! I enjoy being able to make something useful and beautiful from a simple string of yarn. Knitting fascinates me and I love that I can do it!
My latest project was going to be a simple green and blue striped hat for Jackson. Of course, I couldn't make it that easy for myself. I decided I wanted to knit a rocket ship into his hat. No, I did not have a pattern for this. I made one. All it takes is Microsoft Word clip art and Jason's engineering paper.
In the end, it didn't actually turn out as great as I would have liked (the inside of the hat is a complete mess), but I think it's pretty awesome for having made it up myself! Hope you like it, too!!!

Photo #28 First Project Complete!
Yesterday, I spent the afternoon at a yarn shop with my friend, Robyn. My goal was to get just the right color for a little accent on Molly's new hat (of course I left with much more). So, last night I finished up her hat and I think it turned out great! Isn't she such a little diva with her hat and rockin' shades? Yes, she'll even wear them at night.
Next, I am on to a pretty simple hat for Jackson and then one for myself!

Photo #27 Family Fun Day!!!
Jason turned in the rough draft of his thesis this past Saturday. Tomorrow, he flies down to New Mexico to do some house hunting for us. So, today was our one chance to have some quality family fun time! We went BOWLING! We had a blast! Both kids love to go bowling. The base has wonderful little ramps that look like dinosaurs for the kids to use.
