I am so happy that it seems spring has finally sprung! I don't know how many more days we could have lasted being cooped up indoors. Sure, we went to the mall play area, or gym class at the YMCA. But nothing compares to running around in the fresh air and sunshine!!! We even got to take the kids for a wagon ride! Last year, this became a nightly routine. I'm looking forward to starting this up again!

Photo #60 Back to the Great Outdoors!!!
We FINALLY got to take the kids to the park today! They have both been climbing the walls at home (sometimes literally). After the kids woke up from their naps, Jason and I pondered what we should do for the afternoon. We hoped in the car and decided we would head to the Greene (an outdoor shopping area) so the kids could get some fresh air and do some walking. Not long after we started driving, Jackson started saying, "we need to go to the blue playground." It look a little bit, but I finally figured out he was talking about the playground next to the YMCA we regularly attend. Needless to say, the playground is all blue. So we changed our plans, and our route, and went to the playground. Both kids were SO excited to get some quality play time.
Molly spent the entire time on the swing. I think she would spend the entire day on a swing if she could.
Jackson was, well, he was Jackson! Up, down, and all around!

Photo #59 Princess Molly
So, I must confess something. The following photos were actually taken yesterday. I had already made a blog post when I took them and they were just too cute to not use. So, today, I am cheating.
At Christmas time, Molly got several dress-up and jewelry items from he Uncle Matt! She likes to look at them, but never really got into the idea of dress-up until yesterday. After getting the shoes and tiara on, she continued to walk around and say, "Momma! Look! I princess!" Of course, I completely agreed with her. She is a princess. :) She has contined enjoy all of her pretty dress-up items today.

Photo #58 Puzzling Situation!
This morning, Molly decided to sleep in so I got some quality time with Jackson! He decided it was time to tackle some puzzles. First, we did a large floor puzzle together. I could sense he was getting the hang of it so, when he brought out his little twelve piece puzzle, I talked him into trying to do it himself. He's done his fair share of shape and animal puzzles. This was his first time doing a jigsaw puzzle all alone. He was fantastic! Occassionally, he would ask me for help and I just tell him I wanted him to try to do it himself. HE DID IT!

Photo #57 Game Time!
After about two weeks of Jackson asking to play a "black game" (black = ps3, white = wii), Jason finally got his baseball game that he had been promising Jackson they would play together. Even Molly likes to get in on the action!

Photo #56 Another (productive) Sick Day!
Well, the kids are doing better, but they are definitely not all there, yet. So, today was another relax and watch some movies day. After dinner, Molly made a special request for Wall-e. I love this movie because there is very little talking. That way, I don't have phrases echoing in my head all night long.
Last night, Molly was up on and off from 11:00pm until 2:30am. Needless to say, Jason and I didn't get the best night sleep. Of course, this morning I had to be up BEFORE the kids so I could drive to a doctors appointment 45-60 minutes away from here. Why do they always seem to pick these nights??? Good thing they're so cute!
Jackson liked to "catch the light" whenever my camera flash went off! Then he would ask me which hand it was in. :) Somehow, I always picked wrong.
Anywho, since the kids were pretty well relaxed today, I had the chance to catch up on more knitting! YEAH KNITTING! I finally finished a hat for myself! This was actually my second time knitting it. The first time it was way too small so I pulled it apart and started over. I made a couple modifications and VUOLA! I like it a lot! Don't you???

Photo #55 How Come Mommy Doesn't Get Sick Days???
Both kids have some pretty icky colds right now. We've had the humidifiers going and the vaporizers plugged in. Tissues at the ready and trying to teach them to cover coughs. However, aside from the constant coughing from Molly, and snotty nosed Jackson, you'd never know they are sick! The two of them were very cheerful until about an hour before their normal nap time. So, nap time came a little early today. You would think that would mean Mommy got an extra long lunch break and you would be WRONG! Jackson was up twice. The first time it was simply to go potty. The second time, I could hear him moving around and thought he might be going potty again. When I went up to check on him, I found him laying on the floor outside his bedroom door playing with some construction toys. This was definitely a first for him and hopefully the last. He had quite the guilty and sad face when I found him. He eventually fell asleep about 2 hours after I put him in bed. Of course, as I walked out of his room the last time...... Molly woke up. I sat with her for half and hour but that was a hopeless cause. Needless to say, Mommy didn't get her lunch break.
