This season, soccer has become a family affair. It's Molly's first time playing on a team, and it's Jason's first time coaching. The league was very low on coaches and the kids wouldn't be able to play if someone didn't step up to coach. I'm proud of Jason for getting out of his comfort zone to have fun with his kiddos. I think they all did a fantastic job. Molly had a blast and seems to have pretty nice ball control, and Jason did a great job of keeping the kids interested and having fun. I think it's going to be a wonderful season for all of us!
Our seasoned pro. :)
The ball didn't quite go where she wanted it to. :)

Cupcake Queens!
Friday's are super special because, for now, it's Molly and Mommy time. Jackson has kindergarten, but Molly doesn't have preschool on Friday's. Today was cupcake day! Molly has been asking to make cupcake almost every day for the past month. Like her apron? :) We also made rice krispy treats because Mommy has been craving them, so Mommy gets them.
Cupcakes are complete! They look beautiful and so does she! :)

Try and Try Again...
We have had three recent goals for Jackson. First, he has learned to pump himself on a swing. Our other two goals are learning to tie his shoes and riding his bike. Today, we worked at both.
Molly was sad that we wouldn't let her ride in the street. So I told her she could ride to the corner that is farther from our house. That made her happy.

Happy Anniversary!!!
9 years ago, today, I married a spectacular man. What an adventure our lives together has been. We have lived in 4 different states (so far), Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Ohio, and New Mexico. We have 2 amazing children, Jackson and Molly. And our little Grady is on the way. We have taken trips to Washington DC, Orlando, Las Vegas, Portland and many more.
Being a military wife certainly hasn't been without its challanges, but becoming a military family is a decision Jason and I made together. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Family is extremely important to me and, living over a thousand miles from family hasn't been easy. But what a blessing the military has been for us. When people talk about having a military family, they really do mean it. When you move from one state to the next, some people can take years to make really close friends. For us, it takes a matter of weeks. And, as hard as it is to be moving every 3-4 years (sometimes more), I know that God will bring wonderful people into my life wherever we go.
I love my man in uniform! He has been a wonderful husband, father, provider, leader, protector, and friend. Our lives together have truly been an adventure and I am looking forward to all the future has to bring.

Who Needs a Water Park?
Not us! Who really needs to go to a water park when we have all we need in our own backyard? All you really need is a hose, a kiddie pool, and a slide! The kids were thrilled when I told them we could put their pool at the bottom of the slide. Even Benny enjoys getting in on the action! Now if only Molly would remember this is NOT the time to try going UP the slide!

Princess Picnic
I love having a little girl! Yesterday and today, she has been having a picnic (NOT a tea party), with her dolls. Yes, I was corrected when I asked her if she was having a tea party.

RAIN!!!!!!!!
Being that we live in a desert, rain is quite the luxery for us! So, when it does rain, we don't waste our time inside. I never fully appriciated rain until we moved here. The kids LOVE it!
This was the face I got when he realized the rain was stopping. :(
