Princess Molly

Molly received a beautiful Rapunzel dress, shoes, and headband from her Aunt Irene and Uncle Matt for her birthday!  She really does look like a princess, it almost made me cry!





He's officially gone brown!

Jackson is officially a tiger cub brown belt!  Only his red and then black belts to go and he gets to move up to the juniors!  He is doing so well and continues to enjoy taekwondo.  We are so proud of him and the progress he has made it what seems like a very short amount of time!



Some much needed fresh air!

We had some extra duck food and a beautiful day ahead of us, so the kids and I decided to head to the zoo!!!  What a perfect day it was!  And Molly's day was made when she discovered the zoo had received a second bear!  I'm pretty sure, if there weren't a gate in between her and the bear, she would jump in and give him a big hug!!

From Blue to Brown!!!

Today, Jackson had his taekwondo testing to move from a blue belt to a brown belt!  He did awesome!  And both Jason and I forgot that, starting at the blue belt level, they break a board at the end of testing!  He also had to tell his instructor what "Honor" is.  The answer is, "honor is a gift I give myself."  When asked for an example, apparently he had a great one, but unfortunately, neither Jason nor I heard what his example was.  Now he just has to wait until Friday for the awards ceremony!

Hoppy Easter!!!

Happy Easter everyone!!!  What a beautiful day we had!  Woke up bright and early (more early than bright) tp sing in the choir for our churches sunrise service.  Then I came home to cutify my children (no, that's not a real word).  After church, the kids had to have nap time so the Easter bunny could hide their eggs.  Magically, the Easter bunny knew how much the kids wanted Squinkies.  Since Jackson can't have red dye, we've had to get creative for times like Easter, so, in the past, he has received several matchbox cars and now squinkies in his eggs.  At least we know they're a lot easier on his teeth!

The Bunk House!

My babies are growing up!  Their new bunk bed finally arrived!  They are so excited to be sharing a room.  I really like the beds we chose and I hope to have them for a VERY long time.

Happy Palm Leaf Day!!!

Jackson refers to today as Palm Leaf Day!  After church, the kids were looking so cute that I had to break out the camera.  Jackson just wanted to show off the chick cookie on a stick that he got from his Sunday school teacher. :)
