75/365 AWANA Grand Prix!!!

This morning was the annual AWANA Grand Prix!!!  Jason and Jackson worked on their car together.  They went down the track four times (once on each lane).  There were awards for speed and then for design.  Jackson won first for speed AND design in his division!  We are so proud of him.  His little ant car did great!

Jackson's is in the red lane on this one.

This time he's on the blue lane.

74/365 First Camp Out!

After discovering that I did, indeed, know where our tent was, Jason and Jackson had the brilliant idea to camp out  in the backyard.  I'm not sure who was the most excited for this idea.

It took a while to get the tent set up, but there it is!  Initially, it was just going to be Jason and Jackson, but after Molly came crying to the back door with her pajamas in one hand and her stuffed bunny in the other, Jason certainly couldn't say no to her.

Unfortunately, Molly only lasted about 10 minutes.  So far, the boys are still out there.  We shall see what the night brings.

69/365 Mmmmmm....chocolate....

Thank you Papa and Reen for giving me children a ridiculous amount of chocolate.  :)  They each received a solid half pound chocolate bunny!  This evening we let them break out the bunnies.  I greatly under estimated their love for chocolate.  After a while, I just had to cut them off.  Yeah, we'll see how well they sleep tonight!

This was Molly NOT sharing her bunny with Daddy. :)  This girl really loves her chocolate!
