Photo #223 Cozy Molly!!!

This afternoon, we headed out to walmart and Molly got a new hat and mittens.  She has been wearing them around the house since we got home.

AND here are more photos.  As crazy busy as some of the time was, we really had a fantastic visit.  Uncle Matt and Aunt Irene even got to help with our Christmas decorations!  (i.e. Matt made sure Jason didn't fall off the roof).  We are all looking forward to Christmas and the chance to visit with more family!

I realize it has been a whole ELEVEN days since I blogged.  That is called Thanksgiving!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving.  Thank you for asking.  :)  Jason's brother, Matt, and his wife, Irene, came to visit for the entire week!  It was so nice to get some good quality time with Irene and the kids were crazy about her.

We also had Jackson's birthday party while they were here.

Instead of posting several different blogs, I'm just going to attach a million photos to this one!  Enjoy!

Photo #220 The Princess Is In

So, several years ago, I received a castle tent as a, sort of, joke Christmas gift (although I did think it was wonderful).  It had never been opened until yesterday!  I had finally emptied more boxes in the garage and came across it.  Still in it's original packaging.  Of course, I am thrilled to finally have a great use for it!  I put it up in Molly's room.

Last night, she asked Jason if she could sleep in it.  He did actually think about it but then decided it wouldn't be the best idea.  Instead, I let her take her nap in it, today!  I wasn't sure how that would go, but figured I would just deal with whatever they brought.

She did great!  She looked so adorable sleeping in her castle.  Just like Sleeping Beauty, she had her hands together resting under her cheek.  I would have taking photos of her asleep, but she insisted on having the castle doors closed.  I suppose it's only right for her to have it that way.  I did, however, take a few photos before closing the door for her nap.  Enjoy!

Photo #219 Happy Birthday, Jackson!!!!

Today, my baby boy turned 4 years old!  Where does the time go?   Well, lets see.  It started in Massachusetts.  Then went to Ohio.  Now, it continues to fly by in New Mexico!  I am already amazed at some of the experiences my little man has already had at such a young age.  He has lived in three different states, in two time zones.  He has been on around thirty flights and was even with me for MY first visit to Canada!  He has been in, at least, nineteen different states and has been in Lake Michigan, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic Ocean.

His life as been one big adventure and we feel so blessed to be able to give those to him.  I pray that we can continue to take him on adventures and that he can grow up appreciating every minute of them.

Happy birthday, Jackson!  Mommy and Daddy love you more than you may ever know.

Talking to their cousin, Oliver, on Skype!!!

Ready for his birthday dessert at Chili's!!!

Photo #218 Extra photos

When I finally got more photos off my camera, here a few of my favorites I found.

Below, Jackson was talking to Daddy and telling him about the cookies we were making (hence all the flour on him).

Molly got to feed Benny and told me she wanted to watch him eat.

Photo #217 Friend Time!

This past week, a very good friend of mine came to visit and Jason left to spend the week in Dallas.  I've never been so excited for him to be gone.  Not that I didn't miss him, but it was just so wonderful to have some good quality girl time.

During her visit, we took the kids to the zoo.  It isn't big and fancy, but it is just the right size for Jackson and Molly.

Photo #216 Happy Halloween!!!

October is always a wonderfully fun month!  October was filled with hayrides, pumpkin carving and decorating, outdoor play, parties, costumes and CANDY!!!!

Yesterday, we took the kids to a trunk or treat at our church.  Several people volunteer to bring their vehicles, decorate the trunk, and fill it with candy for the kids.  They even got balloons and time in a bouncy house!

You may also notice that Molly had two different costumes.  Originally, she picked out Cinderella.  On the 30th, I took them to the zoo for trick or treating at the zoo.  I will never do that (without my husband) again.

Then, on the 31st, Molly chose to be a beautiful butterfly!

Once Jackson and Molly were done trick or treating, we headed home and they had the chance to answer the door and hand out candy.  It was delightful to watch Jackson find so much joy in giving.  At one point, we had to tell him to only give them one or two piece of candy or we wouldn't have enough for all the kids.  He pointed to his own candy bucket and said "we can dump my candy out and give them that?!"  He is such a sweetie!!!  (no, we did not end up giving away his candy)
