Photo #111 Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful.....beautiful girl.

In all of her silliness, I just can't help but think about how beautiful my daughter is to me.  Sure, I'm her mother and I'm suppose to think that, but sometimes it just overwhelms me.  I stare at her and think, "God blessed ME with HER?"  Wow.  She can have blueberry applesauce all over her, color on the walls, whine all day long, and I will still think she is the most wonderful little girl in the world.

Photo #110

Well, went spent another beautiful morning outside.  Unfortunately, I can't say the same for this afternoon and evening.  We are currently having a super crazy wind storm!  It knocked the power out on portions of the base so Jason got to come home early.  Some of you have seen photos of the mountains we can see from our backyard.  Well, the wind is blowing up so much dust and sand that we can't even see the mountains.

Photo #109

Another beautiful day outdoors.

Here is Jackson's goofy smile whenever I tell him to say "cheese!"  The more I look at it, the more it starts looking a little creepy to me.

Molly is still the little princess.  He crown just turns into a Cardinals cap once a while.  :)

Jackson is going through a phase of constantly taking things away from Molly.  Lately, I think I've discovered a way Molly is trying to keep that from happening.  This is the more recent way she walks around with things in her hands.

I haven't used bibs on either of the kids for a very long time.  Is it because they are clean eaters?  Definitely not.  If anything, it is the extreme opposite.  A bib just wouldn't be enough.  So, when eating foods that could potentially be messy at home, we simply remove the shirt all together!

I call this one "Ode to Blueberry Applesauce."

Photo #108 Another Day in the Sun

We baked cookies this morning!!!  Chocolate Oatmeal Chocolate Chip!!!!  So yummy!

Then we spent some quality time in the backyard.

Photo #107 Hangin' Out In Our Backyard!

I realize most of the photos are of Jackson.  Molly was taking a much needed nap.  But you will get to see her new pajama's she insisted on wearing for her nap and basically for the rest of the day (we even took her out for ice cream in them).  Molly LOVES Dora.  It's super cute!

I still have trouble believing that this is what I see while playing in the backyard.  So beautiful!  Thanks God!

Bustin' a move (either that or telling me "Don't tase me bro).  :)  He's so cool!

This is his FAVORITE shirt.  It surprised me because he will always tell me his favorite color is blue.  Apparently he loves pizza more than the color blue.

And here is my lone shot of Molly.  Jason put together the kids playhouse.

Photo #105 A Great Day for a Carnival!!!

The carnival is in town!!!  The carnival is in town!!!  Boy.... the carnival got expensive.  Anywho, we went and we had a blast!  The kids went on the carousel and a train ride.  Jackson went in a bouncy house and down the potato sack slide with Jason!  We played games.  We won prizes!  Fun was had by all.  And the carnival is happy because they took all our money.  None the less, the kids came home with a blow up squeeky flower, a blow up hammer, and a stuffed dog.  Here are a few photos of our adventure!

Here are a couple extra photos from today.

Molly LOVES being a princess!!!

And here is our living room.  Slowly but surely things are coming together.

Photo #104 More Changes Around Here

Slowly things are coming together around here.  There are still plenty of boxes to be emptied, but we are beginning to make this house our home.  Back in Ohio, we made a final trip to Ikea and picked up a couple Poang chairs.  If you don't know what they are, they are Ikea's signature chair.  Jackson and Molly actually have kids sized poang chairs, so these ones are Mommy and Daddy's chairs ONLY!

Once we got here, we looked around at a few furniture stores.  We are looking to replace a few furniture pieces and stumbled upon a coffee table and end table that we really liked.  They were delivered this morning!

And finally, I have been back at the painting.  We changed the orange a little.  After a couple days of looking at it, I decided it was just too bright for me to live with (when the sun shines on it, it looks like I colored the wall with an orange highlighter).  Below you will find a display of the before and after of our orange.  Thank you to the nice lady at Lowes for darkening my paint for me at no charge.  She saved my walls and my eyes!

I also began painting our entryway.  Jason isn't too keen on green, but I managed to convince him to let me paint a little bit of green.  It looks fantastic and Jason even thinks it looks great!

Photo #103 Happy Birthday, Molly-Moo!!!

Our baby girl isn't really a baby anymore! :(  Today, she turned 2 years old!  Right now, she seems to be 2 going on 16.  Her favorite phrase is "I do it!"  She may be little Miss. Independant, but she is still absolutely delightful.  She is my little cuddle bug and such a mommy.  If I could list her five favorite things in the world (in no particular order) they would be, Jack-Jack, Mommy, Daddy, baby dolls, and Dora.  Her favorite activities include, hugging, tackling her brother, playing with babys, annoying her brother, talking, playing with her brother, watching Dora, and hugging her brother.

This evening, we went out to Chili's for Molly's birthday dinner.  We told the waitress that it was her birthday.  It seemed to take forever for them to get her birthday dessert ready.  Eventually, our waitress came back and informed us that, when she told them that the dessert was for a 2 year old girl, they decided to make it extra special.  So, instead of the regular molten chocolate cake (which would have been just fine with me) she got a molten chocolate cake with ice cream on top, then white chocolate over that.  Next came the chocolate jimmies ( yes, I said jimmies), swirls of caramel sauce, whipped cream, and a couple cherries.  And all of it topped off with a birthday candle.  Yes, it was as delicious as it sounds.  Molly was a little shy as they sang to her, but she was so excited to blow out her candle.

This photo is Molly eating the white chocolate off the top.

The next photo is the face Jackson got after asking Molly for a bite of her chocolate.

I think the answer was "no."  :)

Just before dinner, we took time to open a few presents!

Molly LOVES cows, so this fridge farm was perfect for her.  Honestly, it hasn't even come out of the box yet because she just loves pushing on the cow.  :)

She also got a few cards in the mail.  One was from some of her great grandparents.  Again, she showed her 2 going on 16 kind of attitude. (we're gonna be in trouble)  She pretty much ignored the actual card.

By the end of the day, I have almost all of Molly's room unpacked.  Here is a preview of what her room looks like.  We got the area rug from Ikea just before we left Ohio!

Happy Birthday, Molly-Pop!!!  We love you VERY much!!!!

Photo #102 Happy Children!!!

All of our household goods were delivered today.  This made for very happy kids (happy everyone).  Jackson and Molly are already greatly enjoying their new backyard.

They started off with their own self-made Easter egg hunt (yes, we need to mow).

And then the riding toys came off the truck!!!
