Photo #69 A Busy Day

We started off the day playing in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard.  We visiting Great and Nana next door and were surprised by a few gifts for the kids.  Jackson got an R/C truck and some construction vehicles.  Molly got a baby doll and some board books.  Thank you Great and Nana!

After having lots of fun playing in the morning, we all went out for a delicious Chinese lunch.  When we got home, Jason and I decided to leave Molly with Grandma (since she was still feeling a bit under the weather) and took Jackson over to Uncle Matt's place.

From there, we left to go mini-golfing with Uncle Matt and Irene.  We all had loads of fun!  After each turn Jackson took, we would ask him how many turns it took and he would most often say "Three!"  He was apparently an amazing putter!  He was at or under par the entire time. :)  Irene, however, got a hole-in-one TWICE!  I call it beginners luck!  I do think Uncle Matt made the most amazing shot, though.  Below, you will see a photo of just how CLOSE he could come and still NOT get the ball in the cup.

After putt-putt we let Jackson ride on a few childrens rides.  First he want on the ferris wheel.  Initially, he was very excited, until the ride stopped with him at the top.  It was only to let more kids on, but it was enough for him to become very unsure of the ride.  He did, however, last through the entire ride without having a complete melt down.  After that, I decided he needed to leave on a much happier note so we let him go on one more.  He selected the swings and loved it!

On our way home, we were pleasently surprised by several phone calls from Molly.  :)  At one point, she had taken the phone to Grandma and said, "Hi, Momma???"  Jackson even got to talk to her.

Overall, it was a very full and fun filled day!
