Photo #34 Unique Perks to the Military

This week, I discovered another fun perk to being in the military.  Neighbors who have lived in Alaska and the unique skills they developed while living there.

We got a bunch of heavy, wet snow this past weekend and now there is an igloo at the end of my street.  Yes, an honest to goodness igloo.  It's awesome!  I'm pretty sure most of the adults on our street are more excited about it than the kids.  The photo might make it a little hard to really grasp how large this thing is, but an average height adult could stand up inside of it.  I'll try to get another photo of someone standing by it sometime!
